Scarifying
Scarifying is a fast and efficient way to remove thatch, moss and dead/organic matter from the surface of the turf. All our machines are suitable for fine turf and sports turf.
Top Dressing
Top dressing is applied through a Dakota drop spreader. We can order and arrange for the appropriate dressing to be delivered to site in time for work to be carried out.
Aerate/Decompact
Deep aeration/decompaction alleviates compacted soils enabling the turfs root systems to penetrate deeper into the ground making better use of available water and nutrients.
Overseed
ALS will select an appropriate seed mixture to deliver optimum results, the seed is then sown in three different directions to ensure even and consistent germination.
Drag Mat
Once seeded the surface is then drag-matted in three directions.
Fertiliser Application
Lastly a specially selected pre-seed fertiliser is applied.
This sequence of operations constitutes a comprehensive renovation.
