Midlands based sports turf contractor ALS have added a new Blec Power Box Rake to their contracts machinery portfolio.

Contracts Manager Dave Harvey said “We are always looking at new machinery investment to help us improve the standards we achieve with our sports turf and landscape contracting services. The Blec Power Box Rake is a market leading machine for levelling areas and removing foreign bodies such as stones. We are delighted to add this to our machinery range and have already taken three bookings from valued customers”.

The Blec Power Box Rake is purpose designed to cultivate, move earth, grade and rake. At the heart of the unit is a carbide pointed tooth rotor which contra rotates, pulverising and separating the debris from the soil, leaving a clean raked finish. The hydraulic bi-angling rotor windrows unwanted stones and debris and by folding down the side plates all the raked material can be gathered up. The ALS team will later purchase the optional laser kit, which is used for state of the art levelling and raking, with accuracy down to +/-5mm on sports turf areas.
